Biography

As a multipassionate artist, Mindy Wara blurs the boundaries between mediums, often by delving into their histories to find and explore their intersections. Wara’s creative practice is rooted in intuition and curiosity,  allowing her to explore emotionality and personal evolution through layers of flowing pigments, experimental textures, and branching lines. Wara is best known for her abstract watercolor paintings, most recently featuring hand-mulled paints from her studio in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
