Biography
Though I’ve been involved in art my entire life, I began painting watercolors in earnest around 2015 and have more recently added acrylics and oils to my repertoire. Most of my work depicts landscapes, architecture, or urban environments, and I am particularly drawn to scenes that combine green growth with the cluttered, electric, man-made nature of cities. Each time I start a project, my primary goal is to capture what it felt like to be in that place and time and to create a sense of nostalgia in places that might otherwise be overlooked. Often labeled as eye sores, I believe there is beauty in the telephone wires and traffic cones that surround us. One day, such things won’t be here anymore, and we’ll miss them when they’re gone.
