In my current body of work, I explore time and relationships through the process of weaving images together (woven collage). I use this technique as a way of taking different elements and making them into one image, one object. Weaving allows me to take existing images and show them simultaneously and in relationship to each other, combining images of people and their histories, pictures of a place separated by moments, hours, or years in time. Using original and found photographs, family photos and keepsakes, I weave these images together to create a portrait of a time and place, of an event or a memory, of fact and feeling.

Educated at the Atlanta College of Art, I am a multidisciplinary artist currently living and working in Madison, WI.
