Biography

Art is a method to unlock hidden thoughts and ideas stored away in our subconscious. My artwork expresses ideas meaningful to myself, but my goal is to give viewers a key to unlock the doorway to introspection, allowing for deeper self-examination. I aim to create a visual pilgrimage that is different for every single person. I am able to touch souls, minds, and emotions all across the world without even leaving my studio.
​ For me, as an artist and lover of all art, art is a visual destination for mindful meditation and soul-searching. I create my art with the intention of sparking conversations and healing wounds, but most importantly, my art is created to bring self awareness and enlightenment to its viewer.
Originally from Viroqua, Wi, I attended college in Madison, Wisconsin. I received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in psychology from Edgewood College. I have resided in Madison since 2002, but often return to Viroqua and the Driftless area,
