Biography
Jennifer Knollenberg was raised in Boulder, Colorado. Intrigued by the art and science of beauty, her first creative project out of high school involved measuring the size of respiratory particles in hairspray which stemmed from her keen interest in the beauty industry. She went on to college and holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in analytical chemistry from Purdue University.
After studying food science in a PhD program at the University of Wisconsin, Jennifer discovered a renewed sense of purpose and direction. As her more hands-on creative side emerged, she began to explore the world of art. In 2001, Jennifer completed the graduate jeweler program at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and apprenticed for a San Francisco jewelry designer. As her own work evolved, she merged her scientific background with her creative expression. Jennifer’s fine custom jewelry celebrates the marriage of chemistry, alchemy and aesthetics.
