Biography

I am Shevanthi Weerasinghe Hettiarachchi. I am a representational impressionist artist. I started painting at 8 years and it has been a part of my life ever since.

I work primarily in the oil medium and find inspiration from nature. I have found a deep spiritual connection with nature. I find “Light” fascinating and continue to explore how it plays on nature and strive to bring that beauty of light into my work.

My work consists mainly of landscape and nature paintings with a focus on Monarch conservation as well. I belong to a number of Art groups around the US.
