Biography

Nature is a strong influence on Kristina’s art. She loves the beauty, texture, shape, color, and variety we can find that is prevalent in the world around us. Kristina believes that the Universe speaks to us through the natural world and that we can find meaning and messages by paying attention to the beauty in nature that we encounter, are attracted to, or dream about. When inspired to paint a particular theme that elicits an attraction, Kristina researches the spiritual meaning and discovers what lessons can be learned from it. Messages and inspiration are individualized and can differ significantly from person to person. The inspiration she receives when creating a painting can be quite different than the inspiration you receive when viewing it after completion. Art allows Kristina to escape to a magical place where she can create something meaningful and beautiful while also opening a line of communication between herself and nature. When viewing her art, she hopes it sparks a story or feeling that brings you joy and an appreciation for all the abundant beauty we see in life.
