Biography

From an early age, I enjoyed drawing and painting. Taking classes throughout the years, I landed on oil painting and worked with oils for many years. Recently, when classes went on-line, I switched to acrylic painting and now find acrylics a better fit for me.

I work to combine two of my passions, science fiction and animals. I grew up on a farm and have a love of animals that reflects in my art. I have fun imagining how a creature could fit into our human ways, given their form. Painting, to me, is an organic process where a small idea of an animal in a fictitious setting flows into a fully formed painting with details added along the way. My art gives me much joy and I wish to share it with others.
