Biography
I’m inspired by the buildings and landscapes around me, especially the places that are special to the community. My work often focuses on the little details that make these spaces special, whether it’s the unique angle of a building or the foliage that composes the surroundings. I love capturing underappreciated aspects of a place.
I primarily use pen and ink with alcohol markers, but I also enjoy working with watercolor and some digital painting too. In some of my pieces I combine multiple mediums because each brings a different effect. Pens help me create texture and fine details, watercolor lets me add softness and movement, and finally alcohol markers bring the piece to life with dramatic contrast. Together, these materials help me capture realism through loose and expressive strokes.
My goal is to reconnect people with the places and moments that they feel connected to.
