Biography

My work mostly uses watercolor as the base and the main agent of color. I occasionally use ink pen and acrylic to highlight or line my work. I use these mediums to paint animals and objects around me. I aim to highlight the gleam and intricacies of the subject. Watercolor has a unique pattern to its flow, that I believe reflects the flow in nature. My work is captured in very precise detail, to contrast the movement of watercolor.

Painting the world around me pays tribute to the natural world and allows me to reconnect with it. As an elementary school teacher, it is good for me to pause and reflect.
