Biography
I have always been a maker, primarily working with textiles. Over the years I have progressed from making functional items to using textiles as my primary art medium. When I discovered textiles as an art medium I found my artistic voice. Through textiles I explore how the relationship of color, texture, and the stitched one can realize an imagined design.
My inspiration is drawn from time spent on Wisconsin trails. Nature is the perfect color wheel; filled with unexpected color combinations. Every season has its unique palette that inspires me.
I am a member of the Madison Contemporary Fiber Artists Guild. I display my art in gallery showings, regional fine art shows, and local galleries..
