Biography
I have been making art as far back as I can remember. The creative use of materials has always been in my wheelhouse, and most recently, natural materials make up the bulk of what I make use of. Beeswax, most certainly, for my encaustic pieces, but also twigs, moss, shells: evidence of our connection to nature. Human nature captivates me, and I find the interweaving of our human nature with Mother Nature to be a dance with limitless possibilities.
My work has been exhibited in Houston at the Interspace Gallery at the Museum of Fine Arts Glassell School of Art, the Kinder Morgan Main Floor Gallery in Houston, and has twice been juried into the National Drawing and Small Sculpture Show in Corpus Christi, Texas.
