Christina Thomas-Virnig

Christina grew up in North Carolina and has been doing art since she can remember. She has always been fascinated by nature which led to a career in science. That career also inspired her art. She enjoys taking a step back from the microscopic world and admiring nature as a whole through art. She attempts to capture nature by emphasizing some of the key features of what she is drawing or painting with bright colors and striking contrast to engage and inspire the viewer.
